Las Vegas: Top 60 Rankings

We evaluated each day of the final July NCAA evaluation period in Las Vegas between July 26-30 and broke down our notes to rank the top 60 players we saw between the Las Vegas Fab 48, adidas Uprising Summer Championship and Bigfoot Hoops Las Vegas Classic.

The following rankings are based on evaluations from the three major Las Vegas events that run simultaneously during the third NCAA July evaluation period. The rankings are based on performance, not college potential, or performance combined with previous honors, national or state ranking. The overall level of talent we had an opportunity to evaluate July 26-30 was better than we anticipated after the first two days of evaluation and ended up being better than the summer of 2016, which was the worst we’ve seen in Vegas in many years. All three tournaments this year had high level talent, but high level games were a bit sporadic. With over 2,000 teams and over 20,000 players spread all over town during a five-day period, it’s an impossible task to be everywhere at once. These rankings are based on what we saw and obviously would be alot different from another evaluators’ list based on which games and which event one focused on at any particular time during the five days. Our evaluations are based on all-around performance within the context of winning basketball. We also took into account statistics provided at each event and a player’s class.
